View documents with the document viewer

Clasp Drive includes a built-in document viewer for images, PDFs, and other file types that don't require Office editing. View files directly in your browser without downloading them.

Opening the document viewer

Click on any image or PDF file in Clasp Drive to open it in the document viewer. The viewer opens in the same window, displaying the file content with available actions in the toolbar.

Document types supported

The document viewer supports:

  • Images — PNG, JPG, GIF, and other image formats

  • PDFs — View PDF documents page by page

  • Text files — Plain text and rich text files

Document viewer actions

When viewing a document, you can perform these actions:

Rename

Change the file name directly from the viewer. Click the file name or the rename action to enter a new name.

Download

Save a copy of the file to your device. Click Download in the toolbar to export the file.

Print

Send the document to your printer. Click Print to open your browser's print dialog.

Share

Share the document via email or public link.

Delete

Remove the file from Clasp Drive. Deleted files move to Trash where they can be restored or permanently deleted.

For PDF files, the viewer includes:

  • Page navigation — Jump to a specific page or scroll through pages

  • Zoom controls — Zoom in and out to examine details

  • Fit to page — Adjust the view to fit your screen

Working with images

For image files, the viewer supports:

  • Zoom — View images at full resolution

  • Rotate — Rotate images 90 degrees if needed
