Change Your Workspace PIN
Clasp does not use traditional passwords. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, or through your Google account. If you are looking for the PIN that locks your workspace after inactivity, that is a separate security setting and can be changed in Settings > Security & Access.
How You Sign In
Clasp uses two secure sign-in methods. Neither requires a fixed password that you manage inside Clasp.
Email sign-in: Enter your email on the login page. Clasp sends a one-time verification code to your inbox. Enter that code to access your workspace.
Google sign-in: Click Continue with Google on the login page. Use the Google account tied to your firm. If your firm uses Google Workspace SSO, your credentials are managed by your Google administrator.
If you cannot sign in, verify you are using the correct email address or Google account. See Trouble Logging In for recovery steps.
Change Your Workspace PIN
The workspace PIN is a security lock that appears after a period of inactivity. It prevents unauthorized access to your firm data when you step away. Only users in your firm with the appropriate permissions can set or change this PIN.
Go to Settings in the left sidebar.
Select Security & Access.
Under Workspace PIN, click Change PIN.
Enter your current workspace PIN.
Enter your new workspace PIN and confirm it.
Click Save.
Contact your firm administrator if you do not see the Security & Access tab or if you have forgotten your current workspace PIN.
