Send a Direct Message

Direct messages let you have private one-on-one conversations with teammates directly inside Clasp.

Start a new direct message

Click Messages in the sidebar.
Click New message at the top of the Direct Messages section.
Search for or select a teammate from the list.
Type your message in the text field and press Enter to send.

Reply to an existing conversation

Click Messages in the sidebar.
Select the conversation from the Direct Messages list.
Type your reply in the text field and press Enter.

Tip: Direct messages are private between you and the recipient. Use case channels for team-wide case discussion.
