Email Sync and Badge Status

The Emails item in the Clasp sidebar displays a badge with an unread count. This number reflects unread messages in your connected external email account, not notifications from a Clasp inbox or message center.

What the badge means

The number on the Emails sidebar item shows unread emails in your connected Gmail or Outlook account. It is a live count pulled directly from your external inbox, not a Clasp notification or internal alert. The badge updates as your inbox changes.

Opening the Emails page

Click Emails in the sidebar to open the email connection page. You will see your connected accounts and can open them directly. This page shows connection status and linked inboxes. Case-related emails appear on each case's Emails tab. They are matched by the contacts linked to that case, not shown on this global page.

Note: Clasp does not replace your email client. It surfaces relevant emails on individual case pages and lets you send messages from within a case.
