Health updates when task due dates or at-risk periods change, or when new tasks are added. If you manually set the health, automatic updates stop.
Manage a Case
Cases are the central workspace in Clasp. All documents, tasks, billing, communications, and calendar events for a case live in one place. You can post updates, acknowledge updates from teammates, manage health, and control the case lifecycle from the case details page. These actions keep your team aligned and your stage boards accurate.
Post a case update
Go to the Case Updates tab on a case. Enter your note in the Write a case update... composer and publish it. Updates appear in the case timeline. Use updates to log progress, share internal notes, or record decisions.
Acknowledge a case update
Each case update card shows an Acknowledged by {count} indicator. Click it to open the Acknowledged by popover and see which subscribers have acknowledged the update. The author of a case update receives a notification when someone acknowledges it.
Close or reopen a case
Open the case menu and select Close Case. Click Confirm and mark as closed to finish. Closing a case removes it from the active Case Stages board. To reopen a closed case, open the case menu, select Reopen case, and click Confirm and mark as open.
Delete a case
Open the case menu and select Delete Case. Click Confirm Deletion to permanently remove the case and all associated records. This action cannot be undone.
Case health
Case health indicates whether a case is on schedule. It is calculated automatically from task due dates: if any task is past its due date, the case shows Off Track; if a task is inside its at-risk period, it shows At Risk; otherwise it shows On Track. The case rolls up to the worst task result, so one overdue task makes the entire case Off Track. Click Change health to override the automatic value manually.
In the Cases list, use the Health filter to show only cases that need attention.
