Connect your calendar (Google Calendar)
Connect your Google Calendar to Clasp so meetings, deadlines, and case events stay in sync across both platforms. Once linked, your schedule is visible inside the Calendar module, which sits alongside your cases, tasks, and documents. You can manage events without switching between apps.
Before you start: Only firm admins can access Connected Accounts. You need your Google login credentials.
This is a core setup step for new firms and ensures your schedule is accurate from day one.
To connect your calendar:
Go to Settings > Connected Accounts.
Click Google Calendar.
Click Connect account.
Sign in to the Google account you use for your firm calendar and authorize Clasp to access your calendar data.
Return to Clasp. Your account status shows Connected, along with the date you enabled it, on the Connected accounts list.
After connection, your calendar events sync between Google Calendar and Clasp. Meetings, deadlines, and case events appear directly in the Calendar module. Updates made in either platform reflect in the other, which keeps your entire firm on the same schedule. The Connected accounts page lists all active integrations and shows their status, so you can see at a glance which tools are linked to your firm. You can also disconnect or reconnect at any time from the same Connected accounts page.
To disconnect your calendar later, return to Settings > Connected Accounts > Google Calendar and select Disconnect. A modal asks Disconnect Google Calendar? Click Disconnect to confirm and remove the link.
If your account disconnects, reconnect by repeating the steps above.
Calendar already connected to another team
When you connect a Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar account that is already linked to another team, Clasp returns you to the app and shows a provider-specific modal titled Google Calendar connected elsewhere or Outlook Calendar connected elsewhere.
The modal offers Cancel, Disconnect from the other team, and Switch to this workspace. You can complete the flow from Calendar or from connected-account settings for Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar, as an active firm member who owns the connected account. Client users cannot perform it.
Choose Switch to this workspace to remove the calendar connection from the source team, move the account to the current team, and create the current team's calendar connection.
Choose Disconnect from the other team to remove the calendar connection from the other team and delete the associated email account. You must connect the calendar to the current team again afterward.
If the account is also an active mailbox in the other team, the modal warns that continuing can move or remove the mailbox and presents Move mailbox and switch or Remove mailbox and disconnect for confirmation. Moving the mailbox can affect email access in the other team, so confirm which team should keep the account before you proceed.
