Payouts to the firm's operating or trust account are batched and sent on a rolling 2-day basis (Monday transactions deposit Wednesday), rather than a separate payout per transaction. So if transactions that clear during that window are grouped into the next deposit batch. During the the 2 day period Clasp will show the funds as in transit.
Deposits
A deposit is a batch of settled transactions that moves funds into your firm's bank account. Each deposit appears at the top level of the Accounts screen in Banking and consists of multiple individual transactions grouped together.
Deposit statuses
Every deposit moves through three statuses that reflect where its funds are in the settlement process.
Pending — The transaction is authorized and queued in the current batch. No funds have moved yet.
Funds in Transit — The batch has been processed and funds are on their way to the firm's bank account. The transit time depends on the payment method, such as ACH or card.
Deposited — Funds have successfully landed in the firm's bank account.
Deposit batching
Deposits are processed on a recurring schedule. A deposit can contain one or more transactions that cleared during the same period, so the amount you see on a deposit line is the total of its underlying transactions.
Deposit timing depends on the payment network. ACH transfers typically take longer than card settlements.
Where to view deposits
Deposits are visible in two places within Banking:
Accounts tab — The top-level deposits list under each connected account shows the current status and total amount for each batch.
Transactions tab — All underlying transactions that make up a deposit appear in the View Transactions page per each bank account, where you can review individual amounts, dates, and associated cases.
Clasp supports both Trust and Operating Accounts. Deposit behavior applies to eligible operating accounts connected through your banking integration.
